What counts as over dimensional cargo
A load becomes ODC when its length, width, height or weight goes beyond the standard limits for road vehicles. Common examples are power transformers, wind turbine blades and towers, boilers, pressure vessels, reactors, columns, heavy machinery, long girders and large pipes.
Project cargo is the wider term for equipment moved for a specific industrial project, such as a power plant, refinery, factory or infrastructure build. Much project cargo is also ODC.
