Excavator & Heavy Equipment Transport

Earthmovers, loaders, crane parts and mining machines moved between dealers, depots and sites across India.

Excavator transport and heavy equipment transport keep India's construction, mining and infrastructure projects moving. Machines travel from manufacturers and dealers to sites, between projects, and back to workshops for repair. Gurmeet Road Carrier moves this equipment from Chennai to destinations all over India, treating oversized machines as ODC (over dimensional cargo) where required.

The Chennai region is home to major construction equipment manufacturing, so heavy machines are a large part of the cargo on its roads.

01

Equipment we move

Excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, road rollers, mining loaders, crane bodies and booms, piling rigs and drilling equipment. We also carry attachments and spare parts with the main machine.

02

Low-bed trailers keep tall machines legal

Most earthmovers are tall, and their height is the first thing we check. A low-bed trailer carries the machine closer to the road, keeping the total height lower for bridges and overhead lines. For very heavy machines, hydraulic multi-axle trailers spread the weight.

Booms, buckets and counterweights may be removed and carried separately when that makes the move safer or keeps the load within limits.

03

Loading and securing earthmovers

Self-propelled machines can often drive onto the trailer via ramps. Others are lifted with cranes. Once positioned, the machine is chained at its tie-down points, tracks or wheels are blocked, and moving parts are locked. We check the securing again before departure and during the trip.

04

From Chennai to project sites

Our heavy equipment transport connects Chennai's factories and dealers with highway, metro, port, mining and industrial projects across India. Remote sites need extra planning for the final approach, so share the site location and access details when you ask for a quote.

05

Moving fleets and project mobilisations

Contractors often need several machines moved together when a new project starts or an old one finishes. We can plan multiple vehicles for a mobilisation, matching each machine to a suitable trailer and coordinating the arrivals at site. Share your equipment list with models, weights and dimensions, along with the pickup and site locations.

We also move machines to and from workshops for overhaul, and from manufacturers or ports to dealers and customers. Whatever the reason for the move, the same care goes into loading, securing and route planning.
